Gargoyle geckos
These lizard is a rainforest living lizard that live in the islands of New
Caledonia outside New Zeeland. The are nocturnal (night living) and live in
trees, where they climb around looking for food. They eat fruits and insects,
maybe smaller lizards if they can catch them. The size is about 15 cm of my
1½ years old male. I think that they reach about 20 cm fully grown.
I have got this lizard from Moscow, he was only a few months old when he arrived
in december 1999.
