Terrarium

The terrarium is made of woodplates with glass doors, the roof is mosquito netting. It measure 120 cm broad, 60 cm deep and 50 cm high. The walls have mosquito netting on them to make it easier to climb on to the lizards, since they like to climb.

Inside the terrarium I have sand on the bottom, and a lot of roots to hide under or climb in. They like to dig themself a place under the root. I have a box with vermeculit that is wet, so they can use it when they change their skin, it is hided under some root to the left in the terrarium.

The light are 2 100W halogentubes mounted in 2 lamps. I use them without the protecting glass since the lamps give some UV radiation, it is one risc with that and that is if the lamps explode, but I think the netting will take the most damage and not the lizards. It is on about 12-14 hours a day.
The temperature is about 20-25 degrees Celsius in the tank and about 30-35 below the lamps. It seem to be good since they are in front almost all the time, either sitting sunbathing or just looking around.

Here are some pictures of the terrarium and some details from the lamps.
